"IntroSpect has evolved with the ever-widening world of devices and possible threats. This achievement speaks to our 17-year legacy of technical leadership in securing wired and wireless connectivity."

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – April 23, 2019 – Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company (NYSE: HPE), today announced that SC Magazine, the world’s preeminent publication for cybersecurity professionals, has named Aruba IntroSpect (UEBA) as the best product for detecting and stopping increasingly sophisticated cyberattacks for the second year in a row. Using advanced artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technologies, Aruba IntroSpect helps enterprises identify unknown and undefined threats from within the enterprise, especially as they adopt mobile, IoT and cloud technologies.

IntroSpect leverages AI-fueled technology powered by over 100 ML models to detect anomalous network events and determine if the cause is an attack, exploit or breach. As a result, IntroSpect zeroes in on user, peer group and device activity that strays from established normal baselines – even if the actions are subtle or gradual. It then generates individual “risk profiles” with complete granular context to help speed investigation, prioritization and response. The latest enhancements to IntroSpect include improved integration and analysis of third-party alerts, intelligent alert clustering, expanded visibility and analytics for privileged accounts, and a streamlined analytics graphical user interface (GUI).

Enterprises using the technology can reduce the time spent implementing effective security at the network edge and can save $45,000 per month on average for 10 high-impact security incidents.

“Winning an Excellence Award, in Aruba’s case for the second year in a row, represents hours, weeks and months of hard work, problem solving and dedication,” said Illena Armstrong, VP, Editorial, SC Media. “We are proud to recognize Aruba for their outstanding contribution to the IT security landscape.”

“We are honored to have Aruba IntroSpect win the SC Magazine award for the second consecutive year, serving as a testament to our goal of having a lasting impact on the threat detection market,” said Larry Lunetta, Vice President of Security Product Marketing for Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company. “IntroSpect has evolved with the ever-widening world of devices and possible threats. This achievement speaks to our 17-year legacy of technical leadership in securing wired and wireless connectivity.”
